Chicken prices fall, but don't benefit consumers
So you thought the pain at the pump was bad, how about the unnecessary pain that is being felt at the grocery cash register when purchasing chicken? According to this WSJ article, chicken prices are remaining high but the costs are actually quite low right now due to excess supply. Whey the excess supply? Avian flu fears oversees.
Bottom line, protest at grocery stores, wings should be half the price of what they are charging!!!
